Radiohead vs R&B

This just showed up in my Facebook news feed:

Is it just me or does that scream "People who like R&B and Hip Hop don't really give a fuck what they're listening to?" I mean, I'm aware that there are other possible explanations. Maybe there are more Hip Hop acts out there and as such popularity is less consolidated, for instance. I don't really know.

Still, even if neither of my proposed explanations is even close to correct, those poll results are interesting.

Ajax

After much struggling, (and finally realizing that Firefox refuses XMLHttpRequest across domains), I have Ajax-ized many of the links (i.e. all the ones that seemed appropriate) on our band's site.

Cats

Well, I figured it was time for some silly, gratuitous cat pics. The cats featured are my cat Saint, Marcus and Annie's cats Ella and Fizzgig, Ted's cat Una, and Lisa's cat Zoe. Enjoy.

As Promised

The band's site has been redone by me, and no longer looks like a pile of ass. Our "individual" sections are empty at the moment, but sooner or later we will put stuff there. In the meantime, in addition to the new layout itself, there's also a new song or two up. Head on over and enjoy!

Slightly New Look

After some fidgeting with html, I have made the blog a bit prettier. I am working on redesigning the band's site, which has been the motivation for the html fidgeting. Note the sexy transparency. Yes, that's right, I just called an html tag sexy. Sigh.

Anyway, the point is, hopefully very soon I will finish overhauling the travesty that the band's site currently is, and I'll post it with links to a new song or two when it's ready. In the meantime, enjoy the new look of this very blog.

R/C Helis

This is possibly the coolest toy ever. It entertained a party of roughly 30-year-olds, and I can pretty much guarantee it would do the same for 10-year-olds. Now I want one.
